Insurance delays leave woman permanently disabled

In February 2004, Tara Sadler and her husband Don narrowly avoided being hit by a van fleeing police in Yakima. She suffered a herniated disc that was dangerously close to pinching her spinal cord and leaving her permanently disabled.


Despite her doctor’s recommendations for immediate surgery, State Farm wrongfully denied her claim.

Insurance delays destroy injured man’s credit

Marshall Ness was hit by a drunk driver while walking to his car on crutches in March 2002. The driver had no insurance.

 

Marshall’s insurance company, Farmers Insurance, wrongfully denied Marshall’s claim for treatment and medical bills totaling more than $8,000.
